Fathiyya is married to Madji Al Rimawi, a Palestinian political prisoner. The Israeli authorities only allow Fathiyya one permit a year to visit her husband in Nafha Prison.

Fathiyya’s husband is a prisoner inside Israeli military jails and a father of two. She is only allowed to visit him once a year, yet their love fills them with strength and positive energy.
