The Role of Women in Palestinian Resistance

We will be delivering this event and exploring the role of women in Palestinian resistance. This event will explore Palestinian resistance to gendered oppression, highlighting Palestinian women’s movements and organising.
By situating gender as central to the Palestinian struggle, we will discuss how the Palestinian anti-colonial resistance has historically gone hand in hand with struggling against internal patriarchal structures as well as Israel’s weaponisation of gendered stereotypes.
