Q&A with Aimee Shalan post-show – MILK مِلْك (Shubbak Festival)

Makan Director, Aimee Shalan, will lead a post-show Q&A following MILK مِلْك, a visual performance by Palestinian company Khashabi Theatre, directed by Bashar Murkus, produced by Khulood Basel, at this year’s Shubbak Festival programme.
Through striking visual language and movement, MILK مِلْك confronts disaster as an unending state—one that reshapes time, memory, and survival itself. A haunting meditation on trauma, endurance, and resilience, this production opens a festival that amplifies stories of resistance, solidarity, and hope.
