DESCRIPTION:Join us with Warwick for Palestine on a talk about gender and sexuality in Palestine! This workshop explores gender and sexuality not just as social issues but as material and political issues in the Palestinian context. The session will examine how Zionism constructs racist\, colonial stereotypes of Palestinian men and women to further the oppression of Palestinians. It will also highlight Palestinian resistance to gendered and sexual oppression\, highlighting feminist and queer Palestinian organising and how it has always gone hand in hand with anti-colonial resistance. \nWednesday 6th May 3:30 – 5:30pm

Panel & discussion\nHow are Disability Justice and Palestinian Liberation interlinked? How does settler colonialism work to shape experiences of mental ill-health & madness? Join NSUN and guest speakers from Makan to learn more. \nThis session will include a presentation and discussion between NSUN and Makan.
