DESCRIPTION:This joint online webinar by Makan & Transnational Institute provides an overview of Hamza Hamouchene’s article\, “Vietnam\, Algeria\, Palestine: Passing on the torch of the anti-colonial struggle”\, featured as a part of TNI’s wider Palestine Liberation Series. This session will: \n\nExamine the impact of the Algerian and Vietnamese struggles on the Palestinian struggle for freedom\nExplore the protracted nature of struggle: how different events\, periods\, and moments of rupture build on one another to achieve liberation\nReflect on how these histories of anti-imperialist struggle provide lessons and strategies for our movements today.\n\nThe session will include a 40 minute talk and a short Q&A. \nThursday 16th October 5pm GMT/6PM BST/ 7PM EST. \nRegister your spot here
