DESCRIPTION:Commemorating Palestinian Prisoners Day\, Makan will be holding an online mini lecture\, ‘The cage and the spoon: Imprisonment & prisoners’ resistance in Palestine’ . This session will: \n\nSituate imprisonment as a settler colonial tool of control and subordination\n\nProvide an overview of imprisonment across historic Palestine from the early 20th century to today\n\nCentre the efforts of Palestinian prisoners and wider civil society who are resisting these conditions\n\nJoin us to learn more about imprisonment in Palestine on Palestinian Prisoners Day. \nThe session will include a 40 minute talk and a short Q&A. \nRegister for the webinar here. \n Deadline to register is Wednesday 16 April 5.00pm London time.
