DESCRIPTION:Purpose Of The Facilitator Programme:\n\n\nSupport Makan’s Programmes team by co-facilitating our educational trainings and workshops on an ad hoc basis alongside a member of our staff\nGain transferable knowledge and skills on how to facilitate workshops to support the wider liberation movement\nBuild networks with people who are engaging with the Palestine liberation movement\n\n\nCriteria That We Will Be Looking For:\n\nThis programme is suitable for those: \n\nWho are familiar with Makan’s work and have previously attended our workshops or trainings (online or in-person)\nWho have experience in education. Experience can mean you have studied education or have facilitated workshops for various audiences (e.g. grassroots organisations\, unions\, student groups)\nArabic is not required but desirable\nStrong knowledge on Palestine\nPreferable – Experience working on wider social justice issues (e.g. climate justice\, disability\, gender and sexuality)\n\nSetting Expectations For The Application Process \n\n\nDeadline to submit an application is Tuesday 25 February 6.00pm London time\nMakan will reach out to you by with next steps by Wednesday 26 February\nIf you’re application is successful\, we’ll ask you for a 30 minute zoom call in the time between your acceptance and the facilitator training\nPlease reserve Sunday 16 March from 11.00am – 1.30pm for the online 2.5 hour Facilitator Programme Training\nFollowing the Facilitator Programme Training\, you will be invited on an ad-hoc basis to support Makan by co-delivering our educational trainings based on your availability\n\n\nPayment For Facilitators:\n\n\nYou will be compensated for each workshop/training you facilitate with Makan\nAny transport costs incurred to facilitate an in-person training will be reimbursed by Makan\n\nApply now! \nDeadline to submit an application is Tuesday 25 February 6.00pm London time
